Good Ol' days at the Fort, 2012

Just got back from a day at the fort! :) The town is celebrating Good Ol' days, which always surprises me with the large crowd it brings. Downtown Fort Scott is closed off and full of booths and vendors selling something or other. One area has carnival rides(including a small ferris wheel, which, I love ferris wheels..)than other is for listening to music, while there were two different street dances going on(one for teens and one more of country music or oldies music.). I REALLY wanted to go. :( i felt like the music was calling my dancin' name!! :) But, it didn't start 'til 8pm and it was only 7pm. And it wouldn't have been fair I guess to make the rest of my family wait around an hour when they wanted already to be home. :S :( Soooo! I told them. Next year, I intend to go! :) :P
While walking around the booths this evening my sister Ellie requested to climb the rock wall thing they had. Dad agreed and Ellie got all strapped up. There were 4 walls to climb, one harder than the other. She climbed them all. All the way to the top. O_O :) Shes always been our monkey though. :) ;)
Overall it was a good day! Tired and drained now, I'da still gone to that's street dance, even if I was ten times worse. :P Next year! ;)
